Each year in January Steele-Waseca Cooperative Electric (SWCE) embraces the cooperative spirit of giving and works with local area high schools to award scholarships to deserving high school seniors. 

One scholarship will be presented to each participating school. Scholarship eligibility required by Steele-Waseca includes:

1. Applicants must currently be high school seniors, who will be continuing their education on a full-time basis ranging from a three-month post-secondary certificate program to a four-year college degree. 

2. Applicants must be dependents of a Steele-Waseca member. 

Each participating school is responsible for administering any other eligibility requirements, the selection of their school’s Steele-Waseca scholarship recipient, and the disbursement of scholarship dollars from Steele-Waseca.
