The electric vehicle (EV) market is ever evolving. 

Today, you can buy an EV in almost every vehicle class. EVs offer consumers affordable, efficient, and high-tech transportation. More models, including crossovers, minivans, hatchbacks, and sedans, become available every year. 

SWCE makes owning an EV even more attractive by offering the ChargeWise Level 2 EV Charger rebate, as well as the Revolt renewable energy (100% wind energy for your BEV or PHEV) programs.

• To be able to qualify for the ChargeWise EV charger rebate, you will need to have a meter socket installed so SWCE can put one of our meters in it, as well be on our Time of Use (TOU) rate. It also needs to be Level 2 charger. 
• Once you’re ready for us to install the TOU meter, contact SWCE's master electrician. He’ll schedule an appointment with you. After we have the meter installed, we can process your rebate form that is attached (please include copies of the receipt(s)).
• We can rebate the materials & electrician’s labor up to $500. Receipts will determine if the full $500 is rebated, based on if $500 or more was spent.
• As far as qualified installers, any qualified electrician will work. 
• On a different note, if you’re interested in a free quote for meter socket & wiring installation through SWCE’s master electrician, contact us. We’re happy to get you a quote if you want to hire SWCE for the socket installation.
• An FYI: any new wiring will require a state affidavit. Usually hired electricians will apply for this for you, but if you decide to wire it yourself, you’ll need to submit the affidavit to the state.
