Dual Fuel is an energy management program available to members who choose to install heating systems with two different sources of energy.

Load Management
Curtailment & Interruptible programs for agriculture, commercial and industrial accounts with monthly demand greater than 50 kW, SWCE has load management program rates that can significantly lower your overall electric rate.

Air Conditioning - Own Your Power Program
The Own Your Power program is a control program for qualifying smart thermostats. Members can sign up for SWCE to control the AC during peak hours for three months in the summer. We pre-cool your home before entering the control period. We also offer sign-up incentives, as well as annual incentives.

Water Heaters
Residential: SWCE will give you a FREE 115-gallon HTP water heater
Storage: Water heaters are controlled Monday through Friday (typically no weekends or holidays) from 7AM-11PM.
You will receive either the dual fuel rate (if on dual fuel) or a $10/month credit (when 400 kWh or more are used).

Air Source Heat Pump - Own Your Power control program for home heating and/or cooling.
The Own Your Power program can help reduce your heating and cooling costs through control of your qualifying thermostat by a few degrees. We offer sign-up, as well as seasonal participation incentives.
