SWCE Sends Line Technicians to South Carolina – WCCO Reports on Delegation

Steele-Waseca Cooperative Electric is sending 4 line technicians in two trucks to assist the recovery efforts in Laurens, South Carolina as a result of Hurricane Helene.

Steele-Waseca Cooperative Electric is sending 4 line technicians in two trucks to assist the recovery efforts in Laurens, South Carolina as a result of Hurricane Helene. The line technicians join the following co-ops to go down now: Todd-Wadena, Runestone, Mille Lacs, Co-op Light and Power, Red Lake, Beltrami and Clearwater Polk. That makes 18 in total from MN, so far and more than 70 line workers. This latest group will be assisting Laurens Electric Cooperative and utilizing the co-op principle of cooperation among cooperatives.
