Scholarships awarded to 18 high school graduates in 2026

2026 Scholarship Recipients

Steele-Waseca Cooperative Electric awarded $1,000 scholarships to 18 high school seniors who graduated this past school year.

A portion of the funds to support these scholarships come from unclaimed capital credit equity. 

Steele-Waseca’s scholarship program has awarded $267,250 in scholarships since the program was established in 1954. 

The recipients are a dependent of a Steele-Waseca member and will be attending, on a full-time basis, ranging from a three-month post-secondary certificate program to a four-year college degree. The recipients were selected by their respective high schools. They include: 

 

• Noah Dunlap, Austin, the son of Michael and Kimmy Dunlap, Blooming Prairie.

•  Langston Richter, Bethlehem Academy, the son of Sherry Richter, Faribault.

• Madelyn Harvey, Blooming Prairie, the daughter of Cory and Gina Hendrickson, Blooming Prairie.

• Fisher Kruckeberg, Byron, the son of Kasey and Marsha Kruckeberg, Rochester.

• Malori Prior, Faribault, the daughter of William and Laurie Prior, Nerstrand.

• Carly Bronson, Hayfield, the daughter of Kevin and Stacy Bronson, Hayfield.

•  Caleb Quast, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, the son of Don and Jennifer Quast, Janesville.

• Lucas Proehl, Maple River, the son of Rick and Gena Proehl, Minnesota Lake. 

•  Reid Wildgrube, Medford, the son of Grant and Anna Wildgrube, Faribault. 

• Jordan Meyer, New Prague, the daughter of Paul and Jean Meyer, Lonsdale. 

• Molly Johnson, New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva, the daughter of Lowell and Mary Johnson, New Richland.

• Kalea Lipins, Northfield, the daughter of Andy and Lisa Lipins, Lonsdale.

• Keagon Springborg, Owatonna, the son of Chandra and Austin Haverkost, Owatonna.

• Claire Berndt, Randolph, the daughter of Frederick and Tara Berndt, Nerstrand.

• Breanna Erickson, Tri-City United, the daughter of Joel and Niki Erickson, Lonsdale.

• Brady Staub, Triton, the son of Christopher and Julie Staub, West Concord.

• Hannah Heusinkveld, Waseca, the daughter of Eric and Stacy Heusinkveld, New Richland.

• Thomas Hackett, Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, the son of Ryan and Kara Hackett, Kilkenny.
