We’re downsizing our herd of Katahdin Haired sheep. We have 17 ewes and a Ram. We plan to sell about 10 bred ewes and the ram. Could sell a few more perhaps. They are good mothers, hardy, parasite resistant, no need to sheer and you seldom need to trim hooves.
Very low maintenance. Really don’t need to ever feed grain either.
Ewes are from 1 to 8 years old. Most are mostly white but there are some that are very tan or spotted after they shed. They typically have 2 lambs on average. All are bred and due the last 2 weeks of April. I think $150 is very reasonable considering the lamb crop expected. Feel free to reach out to discuss if you have any questions. We’d be happy to help you get started if needed. You can also borrow my horse trailer to haul them.
